My First Blog <3

Hey Everybody!

Its Bianca, with her very first blog!

I am going to take everyone on a magical journey to...THE WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT!
Yes, its true! I will soon be in WDW! And not only will I be in sunny Lake Buena Vista, I am also a future cast member!

This is the true story of my journey in the WDWCP...

A little about me:
I am Bianca and I am a Disney CP in the entertainment department...unfortunately I can't talk too much about my role, but it's (in my opinion) the best role there is and I am so thankful and excited to be in this role! I am an Acting student from NYC, but I'm currently transplanted in NJ...I went to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, I left to deal with some personal issues and took a semester at my local college (which has a fantastic theater program!). I love figure skating, dancing, and singing...and I also LOVEEE DISNEYYY!

I love The Disney Company! Everything about it is admirable. From the memorable characters to the efficient way they run their business to the show they create in their parks and resorts everyday!

My journey started in September when I had my phone interview. It was easy, all I had to do was be myself! They asked questions about me and my past jobs and then they asked specific questions about the roles I selected to be chosen for. I picked lots of different roles because I mostly wanted to get into the program. Originally I was assigned to Lifeguarding because of my experience as a swimmer, but, then I was changed into Attractions, and then after my audition I was placed into Entertainment.

After my inital acceptance to the program, 3 of my best friends from home were also accepted (Hi Jon, Tori, and Annalisa!) and will be joining me in WDW!

In November, three of us plus another friend made the trek to Pittsburgh for the WDWCP Auditions! It was a ton of fun, except when we got lost, since PBurgh is a TERRIBLY designed city! The auditions themselves were so much fun! We learned a dance and had to do an animation based on a scenario given to us by the auditioners. The dance was pretty easy but was taught very quickly! After being taught the dance, we were brought in as groups of 6. This took a while because there were over 130 people there! Altogether, almost 1000 people auditioned for the program role all across the country! There were tons of talented and really awesome people there!

Since the audition and being assigned my new role, it's been just waiting! Im lucky because I have met tons of people in the cp chat (AIM Chatroom: wdwcpspring2010) and on facebook and tokbox. They are awesome and I love them all! (You know who you are!)

It is currently 18 days until the start of my program. The waiting is totally killing me, but I have been passing the time by reading everyone's blogs and watching their vlogs. I also work at PacSun and I've been spending time with my friends and family before I leave.

So thats my first blog! It's a little lame and boring, but they will get better once I hit the Florida sun!
